JThreadKit(tm) License Agreement
READ THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE. BY INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
DEFINITIONS. As described throughout this document, you, acting individually or as an agent of a corporation or agency, are the "licensee" and Programix Incorporated is the "licensor". The "JThreadKit API" or just "API" refers to the textual descriptions, class and interface names, and constructor and method signatures of the JThreadKit libraries. This software is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.
LICENSE TO USE - EVALUATION VERSION. You may install this software and use it without charge for a 30-day evaluation period. After the evaluation period expires, you must either purchase a license key or remove JThreadKit entirely. The license key can be supplied to the software during installation or during the evaluation period. You may distribute copies of the installation program as long as it is not modified in any way and as long as you do not charge for the copies.
LICENSE TO USE - REGISTERED VERSION. You may purchase a license key to convert the software into a registered version. Licensing is based on the NUMBER OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS using the software: single-developer and multi-developer license keys are available. Each developer must be covered by the license key(s) purchased. You may purchase several single-developer license keys or one multi-developer license key. You may use the registered version of JThreadKit through a network provided that you have obtained a license key for all of the developers who have access to the network copy. The JThreadKit libraries can be used internally by your software and distributed royalty-free with your software provided that [1] you do not expose, either directly or indirectly, any part of the JThreadKit API that allows programmatic access to the class libraries, and [2] your software is not some kind of threading API library itself.
RESTRICTIONS. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Software. You agree not to export this software to any country or jurisdiction to which such export is restricted by United States law.
NO WARRANTY. The Software is being delivered to the licensee "AS IS" and the licensor makes no warranty as to its use or performance. THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THE RESULTS THE LICENSEE MAY OBTAIN BY USING THE SOFTWARE. THE LICENSOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO THE LICENSEE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY.
TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHT. JThreadKit is a trademark of Programix Incorporated. Java(tm) is a trademark of Sun Microsystems. The entire API including, but not limited to, the textual documentation, class and interface names, constructor and method signatures are copyrighted by Programix Incorporated. GOVERNING LAW. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, U.S.A. If any part of this Agreement is found void or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement shall remain in effect.
IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS OR IF YOU ARE LEGALLY UNABLE TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS, NO LICENSE FOR USE IS GRANTED. YOUR INSTALLATION AND/OR USE OF THIS SOFTWARE INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF ALL OF THESE TERMS.
